Piccolo Campagna Farm stay
30 minutes by car from the capital of the renaissance, Florence, nestled at an altitude of 280m in the olive covered hills of Tuscany and overlooking the beautiful Arno river is Piccolo Campagna farm stay BnB. Perched on a saddle between two steep valleys which are the farm and surrounded by forest this is a dream location for a relaxing stay.
Imagine yourself listening to the cuckoo whilst lazing in the sun by the pool or listening to the deer barking whilst taking in the views on a bush walk on our well defined forest trails. A 30-minute drive takes you to the centre of the chianti wine growing region or an hour will take you to the historic cities of Arezzo, Siena, Lucca or Pisa or the quaint little town of San Gimignano, it is the perfect place to discover Tuscany.
The accomodation
The 2 apartments, a one bedroom and a two bedroom are decorated in the modern Tuscan style. Both apartments have full bathrooms and fully equipped kitchens, Wifi, linen as well as living/dining rooms. The one bedroom sleeps 2 adults whilst the two bedroom sleeps up to 5 people.

Other amenities include secure garden, undercover parking, vegetable garden, bbq, bar and swimming pool.

A continental breakfast each morning is included in your stay, with evening meals also available with prior arrangement. See our blog page for seasonal menus. There are also 3 restaurants within 10 mins drive from the farm.

Piccolo Campagna farm stay is open from 20 of April to the first week in October with a minimum stay of 2 nights.

Inclusions
All amenities mentioned above, kitchen and dining implements, all linen, electricity, gas, water and breakfast.
Cleaning
Room cleaning and changing bed linen is done weekly whilst towels are changed every two days.

How do we get there?
Bus: It is possible to get within 2km of our farm by local bus (bus 23a from Santa Maria Novella station to Sorgane and there change to bus 48 to Torre Rossa.) we do not recommend this as during bus times for bus 48 we only have a small truck available and the road the remainder of the way is too rough for suitcases to be wheeled.
Taxi: taxi from the airport and station is possible and would cost 50 euro from the airport and around 40 euro from the station, however it is unlikely the taxi driver would find hi way here so I would printout the directions below before catching a taxi. Taxis will not however pick up from here so you would need to get to Torre Rossa for return pickup.
